He's a cheeky hammy - I hope he enjoyed his snack. Some hamsters just ignore insects. Depends on the hamster. Did you see about my previous hamster Raffy finding a slug and eating it?!Last night whilst free roaming Nibbles ate one midget and two daddy long legs.
The midget was already dead, I swiped it with a tea towel just before he came out, I thought I had missed it.
He caught the daddy long legs, one was hanging on the bottom of the patio door curtain, one was on the wall. The speed he built up catching them was amazing. He saw them meer cated for a second and lauched himself at them leaping up like a kangaroo. They were gone in seconds, I watched jaw dropped and couldn’t believe my eyes.
He can jump quite high!
He seemed to have enjoyed his midnight treat![]()

He was well pleased finding them. He had the zoomies again last nightWe don't often see their predatory side, but they are tiny tigersNibbles was probably saying to himself I don't often get freshly caught food
