Snoopy is really enjoying having the cows back in the paddock, they seem to love him too. There's one particular cow that really seems to like snoopy and when snoop goes for his toilet break this particular cow comes across to the fence and puts her head through so they can sniff eachother, she's very gentle and it's lovely to watch! They literally touch noses., sweet! They watched us cut the lawns this afternoon, they genuinely look fascinated Ness

Snoop is really enjoying the cows every day there's one cow in particular that will come across the field as soon as she sees snoop arrive in the back garden, she just wants to put her head through the fence and be nose to nose it's lovely I think they're going to miss eachother when he moves them onto another field. I think that might be soon as well because the grass is getting a bit sparse, bless! there wasn't much grass anyway because of the hot weather we've had and no rain . We'll all miss them when they move on but especially snoopy Ness

Yesterday I was going to to do my daily routine with the chickens, it would be around 3pm in the afternoon! Snoop had ran ahead of me ( as always) so when I got to the coop I was surprised to see snoop just sat in the middle of the lawn staring forward, totally motionless! I said to him.. alright snoopy? No reaction! So I put the keys in the lock of the shed ( very responsible of me) and went to snoop to investigate. Oh dear... It's happened the sweet cow's are GONE!! Oh poor snoop I do feel for him ! He really gets attached to the cows and then the farmer comes like a silent ninja and moves them to another field. I mean on all fairness there wasn't much grass for the cows to eat after the weather we'd had so they couldn't be there for long. But you still feel for snoopy when he forms such a lovely bond with one of them it was so quiet as well you could hear the waves crashing against the shore, it just added emotion to the moment! They'll be back snoop Ness

Snoop is having to adjust to the more rainy weather now and as you know he's not impressed at the moment he's on his bench with a crow in the tree really telling him off for being thereoh ... Snoops has had enough he's just seen the crow off. I've noticed with snoop lately that he doesn't like drums. If there's any drums banging on TV he grumbles all the way through till it stops. I thought it was a one off until it happens every time since ... Funny snoop Ness

Does he chase birds generally? I think some dogs do. I am not surprised he doesn't like something like drumming - it's maybe because it is repetitive rather than a single loud noise. And they have such good hearing.

I haven't noticed him chase birds, normally when he's lying on the grass birds will come down to the grass near him and he doesn't bother! And they land on the bird bath and he leaves them, I think it was the crow going on at him that pushed him over the edge
