He is so adorable to watch! He's definitely grown. I wonder why he's suddenly noticed the apple stick.
It has been there a while. There is a pear stick but it ended up in another place. It goes to show how I need to give him time to accept new things.

Sometimes they ignore things but go looking for it when we take it away thinking they don't want it.
It's like us having ornaments and knowing Orko, he probably dusts his sticks, lol.

That is hillarious! 🤣🤣🤣

It certainly is! Made me laugh out loud.

Orko's ran so fast on his wheel that it moved and started banging against the cage. This was at 5.30AM. My OH went to move it and Orko carried on running on his wheel. Then he ran about for a bit and ran back in his wheel. He acted like nobody was there! Here is a cute clip from last night. He is getting so much better at climbing now.

I wonder if Orko would keep running if you would move his wheel?
Cute video 🙂

I'll have a look at it later :).

Orko has been very busy over night. He seems to be hoarding more food. I understand hamsters do this in winter but I was not sure if Orko would as the temperature has not dropped here. The coldest it gets to is 19c. Perhaps he has a built in clock.

He looks so cute munching his red millet.

He is getting really good at working out how to get the tricky seeds out of his sun flower.

My partner has been caring for Orko as I am ill and do not want to pass on any germs. I give him instructions but last night he did not put Orko's little cork tile directly under his water bottle. Orko tried to use it to drink but it was awkward and in the end he pushed it away. Later on he tried to take it into his burrow! I wonder if it was to stop my partner from putting it in the wrong place.

Orko had a great time using his millet as a hurdle last night.

Ha ha - he is certainly using it as a hurdle! Maybe you could train him to do some tricks :-) Rows of millet :) . I am sorry you're not well. When my OH has had to feed the hamsters there have been some things that confused them as well. I had left instructions for a spoonful of food in the bowl each day - which OH did. But he didn't think to empty the bowl first (as Robos eat so little it starts filling up) so he just kept adding a spoonful daily and the food would fall all over the place as the bowl was full! It spread out all over his tile and then through the bars onto the floor! And the water bottle leaked all over the shelf as well. But never mind. The hamsters soon get used to someone else doing things a bit differently but I think they are relieved to have some normal routine back too!

Pip must have wondered what all the food was there for! Thank you. It does look like Orko is using the millet as a hurdle. He is so playful. It is adorable. :)

It's really funny to watch :) Especially the second clip where he does it a bit faster.

Haha, Orko is good at jumping over hurdles! So cute.

Funny too how he threw a little paddy when his tile was in the wrong place.

He likes things neat and just so. My tidy little boy.😀

Orko was so busy last night. He seemed to have a great time running and climbing. He enjoyed a piece of cucumber. He has started taking fresh food into the hide on his MCH which is so cute. Here is a clip of him being busy.
