Thankyou, sadly no movement from her in spite of the heat, she has also become stiff and I can see blood starting to pool in her nails. Unfortunately I'm pretty certain she has passed at this point.

I am so very sorry. I hope you can remind yourself what a wonderful life you have given little Pasha. You rescued her from an awful situation and she was able to experience love and happiness because of you and your wonderful care.

You must be in shock still.

Thankyou all, I'm glad she got to enjoy her Christmas dinner before she left. I still haven't been able to bring myself to clean out her cage yet but I'll probably do that at the weekend.

I find it helps to put a blanket over the cage until I'm ready to clean it out.

It is really nice she had her Christmas dinner. There is no rush to clean out her cage. If you do not feel ready then I would wait. I like Maz idea of covering the cage with a blanket until you are ready.

So sorry that Pasha has crossed the bridge. Glad she had her Christmas treats before going.
She had a good life and was much loved. A dignified and calm end at home is a comfort too.

I'm so sorry Don't worry about the cage. I sometimes leave the cage for a few days, sometimes I've got to clean it straight away as looking at it, even when covered, is too painful. There's no wrong way. Just do what feels right.
