She needs her rest

She went quiet at 8 last night ,I know cus I checked the time when her noises stopped. And I put the kettle on at 7.00. Her digging started again then,down in her burrows. She is so funny. I was down here most of last night ,I don't sleep well ,so end up pottering ,I didnt hear or see her. Sometimes she might have a blast in her wheel at around 11pm,but then she goes back down and goes quiet .I probably won't see her today,but I can Def hear her

She was up again and in the door at ten to nine this morning after bashing around since seven am. When she is ready she will dance on the side to ask to come back out,and back into her burrows.

Sweet ❤ She is a great little hammy. I think they often seem to know when their humans are around and hoping to see them. It's almost telepathy ❤

Oh yes,I think it is her favourite spot in the whole playpen . She does have a wander around her maze and seed tube,also has a little nap in the chamber hide under the water bottle I have in there ,but it's not long and she is back in her box.

Choosing treats this morning,,she went for mealworms. She will be so bored when I go back to work tomorrow,she has had a good few days

Hi guys,update on my little girl! I found a lump on her back left foot this morning ,so we rushed her to the vet this evening. She has a new tumour that wasn't there in the early hours yesterday morning. I check her every time she is out. I was hoping it was a blister ,but no,the vet confirmed my worst fears. She is very happy in herself and oblivious to it at the mo. However,it will eventually get worse bless her..Neither us ,or the vet wants to faf with further surgery,he says she has been through enough,and we have her a fighting chance and that she is one very unlucky hammy. He has given me metacam just in case,for her to take for a week.

Oh I'm sorry. Another lump. Sometimes things have already spread in the system - it's happened to me as well with a hamster. Hopefully it won't affect her much or for a long time.

I'm so sorry to hear this. Luckily at the moment lovely Robin knows nothing of all this, but I'm sure her owners are very sad I hope she has a good bit of more time with you, she is such a sweet little hammy
