It is,all so cute regardless. It does look like umbrous yesTino (one of my Syrians) is actually a "golden" hamster but he is a very dark colouring - it's amazing how golden colourings vary.
Lol well,if I gave him the chance I am sure he would lol He gets into everything else.I keeping reading your thread title as Robin posting instead of posing for some reasonAnd keep having this vision of him typing messages.

Oh he has come on in leaps and bounds over the last couple of days. His confidence is amazing ,he was out for almost three hours today,by his choice. He kept coming out to forage and then asking to go put it in his burrows, but coming straight back out onto the door to come out again . And yes ,he spent quite a lot of time on the sofa today, just climbing over us and sitting in the hide I put out for him. He is a very cute and chunky boy,who is enjoying his cuddles more and more. You wouldn't believe how tall he is when he stands up on his back legs.Lovely to see RobinHe looks very happy with that seagrass tunnel
And he looks so happy and alert on all of them. Is he having a roam around the sofa there? He's a really chunky big boy!
Yes,yes ,exactly that,we say it all the time. I have colleagues in work that would be scared of him lol Whereas ,I am like,"awww his little paws","aww his little face","Oh is sooo cute cus he is so big" lolI'd like to see that! Robin standing on his back legsI noticed that about Tino (also large) when he stood on his back legs - he seemed the size of a rat!
Tino is gorgeous! I loved my rats, way more cuddly than hamsters, and want loads of attention, but my sister was petrified of them .Yes my partner is a bit scared of large hamsters that may look rat-like! Although he isn't scared of Tino because he knows Tino is a big gentle softyAnd quite handsome too
My partner has always refused to have rats, even though I say - pet rats are not the same thing at all. Some people just have a bit of a phobia about them!
The social aspect of rats can be complicated, I think. If they fall out the evicted rat needs to find a new family group. I don't think they can live in side by side cages but need actual physical contact with their group. I'm not sure if they can be rebondedTino is gorgeous! It's possible, but it can take a while, and even new rats can be introduced to an existing group. It just takes a lot of patienceThe social aspect of rats can be complicated, I think.
