Show us your Christmas tree 2025

The blue house is lovely 😊. It’s so nice to have something so personal and memories on a tree. None of our decorations are inherited but many have memories - from where we were when we bought certain ones - from one stepson was little, some were given to us on the street! The night Christmas lights were switched on locally and a church group were giving people ornaments. One is a china bell which is lovely and was a gift from a friend to cheer me up after my father died - so that one is always special. The rest are mostly cheap and cheerful!

When we were children we were taken to Woolworths at Christmas every year to choose a decoration each for the tree which was rather lovely.

Ah such a shame there’s no Woolworths any more 😊. I used to spend my paper delivery earnings in there 😊

I loved woolies. I have a really good quality stainless steel frying pan with a lid that I got there for a tenner. Those were the days (twenty years ago now, still going strong).

Some stuff was so cheap there! We bought a dvd player for £20! And it was fine :-) Might still have it in a cupboard somewhere .................

As small kids, I think it was the pick n mix sweets that were the attraction to going to Woollies 😊. Clever marketing really. I supppose it was the equivalent to Primark except it sold just about everything, not just clothes.

We still had a Woolworths in our small market town until about 15 years ago.

Tree is in the house - yet to be decorated ! It’s slightly wonky but I don’t care!

It’s a lovely looking tree…and the candle bridge is lit! 🌟

Second new candle bridge - the original one was shorting all the bulbs that went in so gave up on it. The replacement one had to go back and this is the second replacement one 😊 Wasted a lot of bulbs before we realised what was happening!

I love those candle bridge. That tree is great. A really good size. Love the wicker pot cover.

Done 😊. With a bit of help. The photo/lights seems to have a bit of a purple tint for some reason (it doesn’t have that in real life).

It’s a bit bigger than the 4 foot one ordered! Not complaining as paid the price for 4 foot and got bigger.

We don’t have Woolworths any more but where we are we still have Boyes! Which is the only thing remotely like a department store and sell everything ! And it’s cheap 😊

The downside to it being bigger than expected is, I've just realised I can't see the TV from my chair :ROFLMAO: . Hmm. Might need to move the furniture around. It's the only place to put a tree because of the two large hamster cages!
