Socks: Mouseworks Dynamic Cardboard Redesign and Basic Tunneling

Blossom doesn’t climb her bars anymore although she’s still easily able to climb up her various platforms and nosedive into her dig box! I don’t hear her in her wheel anymore. Perhaps she’s just wiser and more sensible now she’s 2!

Lovely Blossom 💘

Mom: We had a weigh in and Socks is up to 175g, which I'm very pleased about as he seemed to be losing weight recently.
Socks: I like the extra menu items, ground flax seeds, pecan nuts, oats and sweet potato 🍠
Mom: Socks has gone from pouching his veggies bowl at about 7pm to getting round to it in the small hours. I worried last night when it was still uneaten at bed time, but was relieved to hear his wheel going eventually ❤️

That's good he's put some weight on :-) Lots of lovely extra snacks. I'm sure he's enjoying those.

Socks: I came out early for my veggies and used the litter tray 🐾
Mom: the door bell must have disturbed Socks, but I'm pleased he has resumed his early meal time. Hopefully we will get together later. He had a nice run in the playpen the night before last 👍

Aw he is having a nice gentle little life. Interesting the doorbell woke him early. Maybe we should all try ringing a bell to get them up earlier! :ROFLMAO:

Haha, unfortunately it was the other way round. I think he stopped pouching his veggies and went into his nest when he heard the doorbell. He hasn't been ordering pizza while I'm out 😄

👩 & 🧦: Thank you ❤️
Yes, Socks runs on his wheel and as soon as I wake up, he hops across to the front of the cage to meerkat for a trip to the playpen.
Socks: but if it's too early Mom goes back to sleep and we catch up later at about 3am.
Mom: Sometimes we miss each other altogether 😀
Oh I do love it when they meerkat, what a treat to see their fluffy tummys 🥰

Socks: I took half my veggies at dinner time (eightish) and snoozed.
Mom: For the past two days, Socks has surprised me by getting up proper at about 10:30pm. To my surprise, he was on his wheel really early.
Socks: Of course, I hopped off and hurried over to the bars. I believe in my nightly rpm's (I was born to run 😄😉)

Mom: Socks had a great time racing round the playpen and running on his old Rolly wheel.I hope he keeps up his early nights.

That’s great he’s getting up earlier. Maybe the summer weather and lighter nights? Mine seem to prefer it when it’s a bit warner

Socks: Playpen time started a bit late last night, but Mom is on holiday, so she got up ❤️
Mom: It's quite nice sitting watching Socks in the moonlight. I must admit, I fell asleep a couple of times, but the sound of Socks' Rolly wheel woke me up 😄 He's looking older, with loose skin and the thinning hair on his back looks pale in the moonlight.
Socks: I can still race around the guinea pig sized play pen.
Mom: Socks flits about between his tunnels like a little bird ❤️
Socks: I start my heavy Rolly wheel with a little bounce, jumping up the side and running to keep it turning. Great fun. If Mom stops watching, I stop and look round. She puts her hand in the play pen or touches my whiskers and I start running again 😄

That sounds lovely, watching him in the moonlight :) I can almost imagine him from that description - he sounds very happy with his little bounce on the wheel :) How old is he now?
