Well.. Teddy got up last night as normal, went straight to his treat dish to see what was on offer. When there's fresh veg he tends to eat that straight away yum yum gone he saves anything else till he's had a session on his wheel. After about three hours, possibly a bit longer he filled himself up with his food.. added the yogurt treat to that ( I managed to cut it in half) then he went to bed or his secret dining room to eat or store his stash. So I'm not going to know if he loved it till I have a clean up or he comes out to me to try one. Oh the saga continues! Ness

He sounds so cute. All my past Syrians loved yoghurt drops. I've not tried them with any dwarf hamsters as I thought they had sugar for some reason.

Teddy is doing really well, I haven't found the yogurt berry drop yet so I take it it's been eaten. You never know I might find it one day whilst delving in his substrate. He's started going into his apple and mushroom hideouts as well over the past couple of days, I must be honest though I did put some treats in them so I suppose he couldn't resist really... Sneaky me. Ness

Well I'm pleasantly surprised with teddy last night! He ate a whole yoghurt drop, I've been cutting them in half but last night I decided to stop faffing about and just put a whole one in his treat dish. He seems to love it, taking his time... Gone! No more faffing Ness

Yes, I read the instructions when they came and saw they could have one. I don't think I'd give him one too often though as we've said before they are quite big. I did try one and thought it was quite disgusting, but it's not me that has to like it Ness

Do you have much success with the stick's you can get, he enjoys his German biscuits which he has to help wear his teeth down. I was going to get some sticks but I'm concerned about him shoving it in his mouth and hurting himself! Ness

Mums been trying to get a new picture of me, she's trying to be illusive with her phone but I'm not as daft as she thinks. I think she's hoping to get a perfect shot to enter the photo competition. Come on guys I can't make it too easy for her... Now can I Teddy

Teddy is coping ok with the weather so far, fortunately the cottage is always cool inside. Today is supposed to be the biggest test with temperatures so fingers crossed he stays comfortable, he has a lot of cool surfaces to go on! Ness

Morning everyone, I hope you've had a good bank holiday and I also hope you're all coping with this intense heatwave. Teddy so far has been coping he's been doing his usual things, thank goodness. We fitted a digital temperature gage on his enclosure so glad we did just for peace of mind. At the moment it's reading 21 ideally I'd like it to go no higher, we'll see. I hope nibbles is coping ok . Teddy sends his hammy love and hammy hugs Ness

A big hammy hug back Nibbles and some I hope you like them my alarm clock says 29.8 . My pigs are bravely enduring but it must be difficult for them. They look at me and are probably wondering when normal temperatures are going to be back The fan has been on for a few hours. The plug is nice and cool, so I'm hoping, barring some rest periods, it will keep going for a few more hours I ate some frozen sweetcorn and it was quite pleasant Not something you would normally do

They are Polo (white) and Truffle (chocolate brown). They are rescues but may have been lock down pets, so are probably about five. I had to give them their own cage each, side by side, as their bond failed and they stopped getting on.
