Those niteangel carrots are very cute Nibbles hasn’t really bothered with his so far. Just a quick bite, but he always takes a while with new things.

Teddy had a good night last night , he had cauliflower and a Nibblot on his dish, plenty of wheel time and foraging? He is quite fascinated in trying to move his mighty carrot towards his burrow but with no success... Yet! Ness

Teddy had a wonderful time last night, he was up his usual 4+ hours. He had broccoli his Nibblot and I put a small piece of dandelion root on his special dish . All were gone this morning! He did lots of foraging, he left his big carrot in place for a change I think he's trying to give the impression that he could move it if he really wanted to. I think we know better.i hope I can keep his enclosure temperature sensible today, it's so incredibly hot here? I wish you all well on that ,try to keep cool! Ness

It was humid and midgy here last night but surprisingly grey and dull here today. I hope it's not going to be hot weather without sun! Teddy seems to be enjoying everything hugely and organising his space and keeping you guessing

Well it's been 30 degrees here today. Managed to keep the enclosure at 23.2 quite lucky really that the cottage with it's thick walls stays quite cool!! Ness

You are lucky. Yes modern housing does not cope well with heat waves

Hi everyone I hope you're managing to cope with this intense heatwave Teddy's enclosure is at 24.3 at the moment I don't want it to go any higher? He had a good night his usual time up and plenty of wheel time and foraging. On his dish last night he had 2 peas and his Nibblot which he seemed to thoroughly enjoy The one thing I was chuffed about was... a while ago now I got teddy I treat for his enclosure,it was a log of wood filled in the middle with dry carrot and millet! He hasn't bothered with it at all used it as a look out post anything but eat it.last night Houston we have success, he's eaten it a good inch and a half down in the middle. I'm well pleased with my little chap. I hope you're hammys are ok in this heat ! Ness

If it goes higher just put some cold mugs in the cage or ceramic hideouts and if possible ice packs wrapped in a tea towel under the cage where he sleeps. They do cope well, don’t worry. I have been in tears worrying and so far he’s been fine.

Thank you Amy, I'll do that, he does like his ceramic hides! He didn't bother with them till this hot weather arrived, now I've noticed the little bit of bedding in them is squashed flat. I think the ice packs that come with Snoops food are going to be very useful!! Ness

Ceramics are great for keeping cool if you put them in the fridge for a while, you can rotate them
