Hello all. Every year we request contributions towards site costs, to help keep this hamster resource and site viable. Server costs are always increasing and we've just had a big bill to fix our plan for four years, which future-proofs storage for the site. It means we need a big push of contributions this year! On the plus side we'll need to raise a lot less for the following three years, but the bills need paying between now and October mainly.
We are partially funded by affiliate links but still need to raise £646.23 this year.
This forum is a place that is, I believe, fairly unique on the internet, in providing balanced and researched care advice and resources from experienced owners, daily support for people in crisis with a hamster, help with issues, and a friendly and caring ethos for members. It is worldwide and is also a place to share and have fun, with no adverts, no "algorithms" pushing content you don't want, no constant scrolling to find things and a good search facility. Our care guides are there to support all hamster owners, with researched and referenced articles.
Whether you are just passing through and reading articles, or are a regular member, your support, and any contribution, however small, would be much appreciated!
