Ha ha. I think hamsters like to rearrange things in their homes sometimes, and sand is for kicking of course!

Which is the very reason i brushed it back in.
I left the seed shells as i want him to feel at home (oops, doesn't say much about my own housekeeping). Good to know he feels secure enough to eat out in the open.

I opened Clive's door this afternoon which is a bit noisy and heard a short annoyed screech from the depth of Eddie's cage, lol.

Lol Eddie is taking lessons from Finley and Bernard. How funny he was annoyed by the cage door and let you know about that. He sounds like he is settling in so well. :)

Dwarfs can be quite irritable and vocal when something disturbs their sleep.

Day 6:

Not the best start to a day. Haven't had my hamster welfare check text from my OH yet so he must have rushed off to his coffee morning after giving the boys their porridge.

And Greggs had no omelette rolls so i'm reduced to eating a croissant with my latte.

On my way home now and looking forward to see who's about.

I'm sure everything will be fine. Maybe your OH has slept in? :)

Aww I hope you can get an omlette roll soon and all is well with the hamsters.

Running out of omelette rolls shouldn’t be allowed!

I’m sure the hams are all well & will be happy to see you coming home.

No one about! Not one single nose.

The Robos wheels look well used, no sign of Lilly so must have been fed treats by OH, Eddie carried his whimzee onto his big shelf and chucked his sand about again overnight, Jack's soaked science selective bowl is empty and not a squawk from Clive.
All is well.

I'm just going through all the hussle of boiling an egg thanks to Greggs, grrr.

That's work done now till next week and to mark the happy ocassion, i've changed my handbag! 🙂

Ooh that is a very nice handbag. I love the colour - is it suede? Also lovely hamster dangly thing!

That is a lovely colour & as Maz described it so well the hamster dangly thing is lovely too.

Sounds like the hams are all very content then.

It's a fabric Kipling bag in my favourite colour. The bag charm is a hand painted portrait of Clive!
Looking at Clive's face has always made me smile, painted or au naturale.

Aww you moved your keyring to another bag. It looks lovely. :)
Clive has always been on this bag.

Rodney used to be on my wipeable Lacoste works bag so was always with me when away from home. Until the day the key ring broke in half and i glued Rodney's portrait back together, framed him and put him next to Henry on the wall in the spot where they happily lived. They are watching over little Bernard now.

I like Kipling bags - I have a small camera bag by them. They don't make it any more unfortunately (the camera one). It fitted a camera body, two small lenses and bits and pieces in various pockets and was like a mini shoulder backpack.

Jack must have had a major tidy up last night. His corner toilet was full of poopy substrate! I've just removed it all plus some substrate around his house and replaced it with fresh. He woke up and had a quick peek to see what's going on, used his toilet and went back to bed.

Every dwarf girl we've ever had had a thing about shoes and feet. They can't pass a shoe or foot without having a quick sniff or nibble.
