A Week in the Life of - Socks the Syrian Hamster

Really glad he likes his house :) And his platform - he seems to have adapted very well to the slight changes :)

He’s a lucky boy to have such a nice big cage and house :) . I was looking at his favourite photos - is the first one of a Socks hoodie?! :-)

I am a bit sleep deprived though. Hamsters are magic, but you have to give up some sleep (I sleep better despite sharing a room with Socks) in order to see them and socialise with them

Yes, it's Socks alter ego, a biking hamster😄 He is wheel crazy ❤️

It's so nice to see Socks in his playpen. The wheel video is so good. His little feet are so cute

What a beautiful boy Socks is. It is lovely to see how well he has settled in and that he enjoys his playpen. :)

Socks is super cute, love the video of him having a clean in his sand bath and of his wheel running, super speedy. Look forward to hearing all about your week together.

Happy Valentine's Day everyone and every ham!
Sock's lives in London and it's a busy place:

I'm looking forward to April when I will be able to watch the garden birds first thing from my window! The parrots are so raucous, but wonderful! 🦜
Socks is in bed now, fast asleep 😴 in his MCH. All right for some, isn't it!

Was that your garden? I spotted what looks like a hedgehog house but I think the entrance hole may be too small for a hedgehog. :)

I live in London too and you are right about the parakeets being noisy. They seem to love pulling blossom off trees. I find it cute. :)

I had one parakeet in my tree in my garden recently. Apparently, there's a flock which roosts in a nearby park although I've never seen them. I haven't seen them in my garden before.
