Blossom 🌸

It’s spot clean day for Miss B 🌸 I didn’t clean her nest/food stash at all as she is now pooping under the platform next to her nest rather than in her bed. So I just cleaned out the poop under the platform, and her toilet area under her wheel. I thought she’d be pleased as I didn’t remove any of her bedding in her nest or her food stash as they were clean. However, she was squeaking at me…I believe that she was miffed with me for removing her poop stash! 💩😂
 
I usually leave some as sometimes they consider them as hoarded poops for emergency food 😊
 
Te, he, sounds like Blossom wasn’t ready for a poop tidy. She’ll no doubt be busy eating to replace those tonight.

It has just occurred to me that it will be Blossom’s first birthday next month! I keep thinking that it’s in August, when I got her, but she was about 10 weeks old then! It seems even more appropriate now that I called her Blossom given the time of year in which she was born. I’m going to aim for 25 May as that is exactly 10 weeks before August 3 which is her gotcha day. Best get planning for the big celebration 🎉 🎈🌸

Dear Blossom,
May's fairest pup,
Born in time to greet
The warm suns of June,
Whose colours are caught in your soft fur.
Young Syrian of many hues,
Your fearless defiance of giraffes,
And those pesky cage bars,
Has become a legend through all the bazaars.
Smitten at once,
We have watched you grow from playful kitten
Into Loveliness' delightful mini bear.
Feisy reducer of all things chewable,
Tubes, cardboard, toys and leaves of banana,
Full of beauty, mischief and fun.
We all love you very much,
But more than anyone else,
You love your Dad and Mom!
