Blossom is clearly enjoying the Cork mat which she got for her birthday along with other goodies #nolongerheartshaped

I always dot Blossom's food around her cage for her to forage. Her wheel is one of the places I leave a little something for her. On her birthday, I put her birthday 'cake' of cucumber, carrot and cheese in her wheel for her to find. Ever since then, she has been eschewing whatever treat I put in there...obviously doesn't measure up to cheese lol

She’d also dragged it (I presume anyway!) to the corner of her cage…wish I’d seen her do it…that would have been funny lol

Not really...its just littered over the bedding. I guess she just likes the texture, in the same way she likes gnawing on cardboard.

My female hamster, Kashi used to love a good chomp on cardboard.

Blossom is having one of her ‘busy’ evenings! She has been very active this evening in her cage. She came out for a bit of a run round her play box, then back into her cage where she has been chewing on lots of different textures. She seems to have worn herself out now

Ha ha…spoke too soon, she’s back on the move I can hear her chomping on banana leaves currently…actually I think it’s egg box right at the moment!

Blossom seems to have been a bit confused today I heard her squeaking at lunchtime today…she was out and about looking for food I told her it wasn’t tea time yet, and she scuttled back off to bed

I’d been out in the garden for a couple of hours doing some gardening as it’s my day off. I’m wondering if she heard me come in from outside, and thought that I was returning from work at tea time

That might be it They get used to our routines.

Blossom really enjoyed the peanut in a shell I put in her wheel at teatime this evening

I love how they leave the mess of the shells behind

It must have been nice and crunchy. I gave Socks some hazel nuts and pecans out of my Granola. They were gone within minutes
