So, I removed the excess bedding and will save it for another time, and all has been put to rights. I’m not sure Miss B agrees, as she immediately attacked her toilet roll treat holder lol 😝

Just saw that! I wonder why she piles it up there from the floor of the cage! So is there a gap in the bedding down to the floor again?

Yup, so half her cage, in an L shape, is just bare cage floor again with no bedding 🤷🏻‍♀️
 
At least I know now that she really does like it like that, so when I clean her in future, I can just leave it that way…saves on bedding anyway lol 😜
 
Blossom was delighted to find a peanut in its shell in her wheel for tea tonight 😋

NB note the stash under the wheel ...she was squeaking at me for her tea...she is clearly a poor starving hamster 🐹 😆
 
NB also for those not yet acquainted with Miss B, the bare cage floor under the wheel is her own decorative choice, and absolutely nothing to do with me! I don't want anyone telling me she should have deep bedding throughout her cage 😏😆
 
Also, I'd say she's looking pretty good for 18 months old now 😊

Lucky girl finding peanuts in their shell. Kulfi had that last night too (no pics as he is a master at getting up once I am in bed with the lights out)!
 
Lovely photos of Blossom. She certainly enjoyed her peanut treat.
 
Time sure does fly. Lovely to see Blossom, she looks like she’s balancing on the edge of her wheel whilst eating her peanut, very clever. 🙂
