I kept getting this odd smell from the left side of Clive's cage so i cleaned it out while he was out in the hall. It was around his house area and the substrate i replaced with fresh had a cheesy kind of a smell.
He wasn't too put out and munched on treats when i put him back and then filled up his pouches. He's in his house now and closed the door, probably snacking on his goodies.

Clive back shovels substrate into his house and then digs a little tunnel and cave for himself. Now i need to put more Kaytee in or he'll fall into the ditch.

I'm so glad that he didn't get upset but he's a lot calmer now. I can hear him cluttering about in his house, probably re arranging things.

Clive was constantly climbing up my front to sniff my jumper.
And then it suddenly clicked. I carried Olive about earlier and she must have left her scent on my jumper. I hope she's not in heat. I couldn't tell because i'm not that familiar with female Syrians.
I thought that Clive was very affectionate the last few days and now it all makes sense. It's not me he wants, it's Olive.

Clive must have fallen into his water bowl. His left side was wet but he's dry now after zooming around on the floor.

Clive is very annoyed because he has to wait for his turn to freeroam. He has been out twice already because he gets up about an hour before Jack.
. Does he have a little beard under his chin or am I imagining things?!
