He’s quite small isn’t he but still a healthy weight, he’s certainly full of beans & healthy.

Yeah! I'm only really noticing it now but he's a shorter winter white. Still looks like he's just come home, even though he's almost 8 months old

Henry has had little interest in me the past 5 days or so, and I think I've discovered why. He has a brand new burrow between the wheel and his straw tunnel. It must be a secret and I'm not supposed to find it! I think he's climbing on the log to interact away from it, going to try and play on the other side of the bin for him tomorrow. He's been a bit zesty, on his wheel non-stop and very talkative.

He seems more hamstery than ever, so I'm really happy for him. I will say the next quality time we have will be extra special, but he's spoiled me with a ton of it so far.

I know all about secret burrows with Chinese hams, I’m really not supposed to know where they are!

Long overdue for some Henry footage, it's been like 8 days of his wheel marathon. Trying to keep it at the same speed since he likes to build under it, he's so happy with it. I will try to film his log move tonight, it's pretty cute!

He does still greet me for a minute or two, I get kisses and sometimes he takes a treat. Today he was either indecisive or pulled a trick on me! He's smart enough and zesty lately, I think he got me. Also did a sunflower seed scavenger hunt while we wait for more flax, he finally stopped his zooming to find them at almost 6 am.

I didn't until you mentioned it! Way too cute, so many great pictures. I could totally see Henry trying a skateboard, he has the right name for his personality. Not quite Indiana Jones, but still an accomplished explorer in his own right.

No log move today, he chirped for me and I missed approved human time. But Henry was definitely trying to lead me to the other side for playtime. He's built three new burrows, all by the wheel. Super happy that I can see one tunnel near the bottom of the bin.

He's finally using that deep bedding, at long last. He's also not on the wheel for the first day in 9 days, I think he's having a digging day.

He was only out once overnight, a digging day requires a good snack at the end. I hid some mealworms around his enclosure, a little scavenger hunt for when he was done.

Henry continues to be uninterested in playtime inside his bin for the 10th day in a row, but he took the taxi when offered tonight. He gave me some kisses, climbed all over my face, and settled down between the pillow & bed. He likes doing that on the couch too, a snuggle sack might be up his alley.

We had a half hour adventure all told. He had the most fun climbing on the blankets and a pile of work clothes, zero interest in my hamster hides & toys I set up. No interest in the dig box I made either. Time to find him a new blanket to explore, he knows what he likes.

It was so heartwarming, together time always means the world to me. He was bruxing a good deal while licking my hair & face, then it was off to the blankets!
