Lovely video! He is so happy, he expresses it by racing on his wheel!

Henry had an alone day yesterday, but today asked for quality time. He seemed bored of the couch, so I set up his area in my room. I also opened a nearly empty peanut jar for him, about 2 peanuts worth of pieces left. Henry absolutely loved it, I wish I caught his reaction afterwards. He zoomed around in a few happy circles, stopped to kiss my foot, and zoomed some more.

Henry was bar biting this morning. I was up early for work and he got up on his castle for a bit before going for it. I think he was demanding an adventure, but I'm also going to make him some new toys + a thorough clean of the bin. Also going to give him some more wood chews, and give him a health check.

We had a nice adventure last night, he even got some of his favorite sour cream. One way or another I will figure out what he needs, want to make sure he is a happy ham. Hard to believe he's already a year and a half old.

Edit: I took a look during lunch, and it does seem like he wanted some quality time. I will still make sure everything is satisfactory.

Henry was ready on his cooling tile for an adventure, went right in the taxi. I did use the opportunity to clean his bin, and tried to keep his burrows intact. I gave him an extra bribe for being such a good ham: Extra Bribe

His tunnels are surprisingly thin, but I'm really happy to see he's dug a system throughout the whole volume of the enclosure. They run the full depth and length of it, his building has been busy indeed. We will have to see how mad he is after invading his territory
 
Just seen yesterday's videos :-) It's lovely watching him run up that bridge, his ears right up!

Serious nosh time there :-) His tunnels sound impressive all over the cage. I'm sure he'll forgive you for the disturbance :-)

He did already, but unfortunately went on a building spree. I need to fix the log again, but I'm sure Henry believes this is the right way to exit the log: Hamster Way
 
Henry has wanted alone time for the past four days, he politely shows no interest in the taxi when offered. Today he brought a pillow to his new nap spot: Pillow Grab

I'm rearranging my place, and he is going to have his very own room.

He finally decided it was adventure time yesterday. I took him to my room, and he asked to go back after a few minutes. When he was returned to his bin, he pawed at the sides until it was clear: couch time!!!

Henry was out for a good two hours, and he's finally exploring the rest of my place! Most of it's hamster safe, I keep the two dangerous areas in the kitchen & water heater closet blocked off.

He really is great at communicating. Tonight he came up with his own trick, and actually fooled me! I saw him getting ready for his snuggle attack, he likes to be polite and slowly approach over the course of a minute then sprint over. He made it seem like he went in the taxi and I was getting ready to lift it. Then I feel a little lick, he went around the other side!!! I wish I kept filming, I was thought he was actually done and he looked so pleased :ROFLMAO: We also did a scavenger hunt too, and oddly it took him a while to find one of the mealworms nearby. Henry surprised me in both ways, extremely clever and occasionally clumsy!
