Higgins

Higgins came out again tonight :-) He didn't have sofa time tonight as he was too fast :ROFLMAO: Although he did have about 2 minutes on my knee then I popped him straight back in the playpen. He's almost 6 months old now. Can't believe it.

Higgins thinks he's a dog :ROFLMAO: My dressing gown belt was hanging into the playpen.

Here he is in the playpen generally and exploring - you can see him scent marking the sides. He really made me laugh as well with his pringles tube - unfortunately I didn't catch that on video. First he climbed in it and rolled around on his back with his legs in the air. Then he pushed it along right up to the wheel - like a dog again!

Definitely in a very chewy mood tonight - he had a good go at his carrot cottage as well

He seems to be using his hunting skills on the belt. He is having fun playing with it 🥰

He was incredibly fast!

Yes he really has got energetic! He was always quite energetic, but initially quite shy and cautious in the playpen - not any more!

He did make me laugh with that dressing gown belt :ROFLMAO:

Thank you Tulsi - hope you and your fluffy boy are well :-)

A few "out-takes" from Higgins Christmas photoshoot :-) As you can see I had an interesting set up with tinsel round the wheel and a little Christmas tree. But as usual they don't sit in the right place ha ha. There was a piece of cheese on the mini Christmas tree, which he grabbed. He found the wheel didn't spin when he climbed on it, so looked surprised! The tinsel wrapped round it restricted it. The rest of the tinsel was round the back of the wheel which is where I took the photo used in this month's competition when he sat on it :-) Eventually he sat in the snooze cube nibbling the cheese and other treats he'd found.

Lovely to see Higgin his coat is beautiful with a white undercarriage he obviously enjoying his time out.

Thank you Jain.

Higgins was out tonight. He’s had to wait a while as Tino hogged the playpen a couple of times recently and then I had to wait for a week or so while infectious. I though he needed to be out as his ears have been down the last few times I’ve seen him - but it’s possible he had only just woken up - their ears are down sometimes when they wake up.

He walks into a tube now if it’s offered so he had some time in the playpen but was in a different mood to last time. Last time was when he was very energetic and fighting with my dressing gown belt. This time he was bs j to being cautious again and more interested in trying to chew the carpet where there was a little gap under the playpen.

He also likes his snooze cube but didn’t seem very settled in the playpen so I lifted the snooze cube with him in it onto the sofa with me and he had a couple of strokes and a bit if handling but didn’t particularly want to sit for long. I think he enjoyed a bit of a climb around on the sofa though. Back in the playpen I had put the snooze cube a bit close to the carrot Cottage so he decided to enjoy both at the same time.

Tino was really pestering - in his quiet slow way / to come out after I put Higgins back - he had his stomach up against the bars and was looking at me in a desperate kind of peeved way - so I swapped the playpen contents over and had him in straight afterwards. I’m sure they can smell each other at the edges of the playpen each time and they sniff curiously but don’t seem too bothered.

Here’s Higgins in his snooze cube

Those are amazing videos, I love him going at the belt! He's trying so hard to get it, I wonder if he's trying to take it away? The video you made came out very well
