Thanks everyone , I appreciate your comments especially as it is a hamster forum means a lot. He's such a lovely natured little dog I can't understand how anyone could give him up. I do know his first owner was an elderly gentleman who died then he went to two different families with cats dogs and children it didn't work out. I love him to bits Ness

Snoop just went for a walk to see the sea, it's looking lovely today with the sun and wind blowing up the waves! On the way back home Snoop saw the bulls that live on the farm, they're so big... Quite intimidating but snoop loved them. So well behaved so he gets another Star . His star board is getting quite full. Well done snoop. Ness

Well snoop has had a very big test today! I have been a bit concerned about how he will react when he sees one of the humungus great bull's that live on the farm? He's met the ladies in the field on his walks and I was very impressed with how he was.He actually misses them when they're not there,if the farmer has moved them to another field. Well the day arrived today!! I couldn't believe how much bigger the bulls have grown since I saw them last. They are literally in the paddock next to my back garden! There's just wire between them and us. I held my breath and looked down towards Snoop haha his tail is wagging and he looked thrilled to see them , thankfully they looked the same. Oh well done snoop I'm so proud. He's been out there all day with dad cutting the grass and he's been so well behaved. It could have been so different so yet another star for his board Ness

I'll try and get a picture of them before he moves them over to another field. They've always been friendly in the five years I've lived here, although I must admit I've never pushed it Ness

They are large! They are seemingly trained to know boundaries though Do you think they would run away if a dog barked?

They don't seem bothered at all about barking or anything. They love it when we mow the lawns, they come to the fence and watch us go up and down, when the girls are in the field there can be fifteen of them just content watching us mow. It's lovely Ness

I like cows . I did get chased by one through a field once though when out walking. They had baby calfs with them and although I didn’t go near them I still got chased by one mother cow!

We get the mum's and babies in the paddock when they're due to have a vet check. Mums are very protective, can't blame them really. It's lovely watching the calf's rub their mum's back leg up and down when they want milk! So sweet. Ness

Well.. snoop has been such a good boy this morning on his walk! We were told by the rescue centre that he couldn't be around cats. Our lovely neighbour has a young cat and we dredded the day that snoop saw her, well hubby took snoop for his walk around 7am , he took him earlier than normal because it was cooler.hubby was chatting to our neighbour then looks down and snoop is nose to nose with Mabel their cat wagging his tail. How lovely! I'm sure it would be different if she was in his territory,but it's nice they can be friends outside. Yet another star on that board well done snoop Ness

Aw that is nice - he seems a very friendly dog - and yes maybe it is territory. My limited experience has been that dogs try and be friendly with cats and cats scratch at them! And then it turns into a chase ha ha.

Morning everyone, snoop had a good night last night, we opened window's either side of the bedroom to give him some air flow. They were on safety latch so I didn't have to worry about him . We do sit with him on the window seat during the day so that's why we have safety latches! It could give a whole new feeling to reading a thriller just one more day to get through the heat hopefully Ness

Morning everyone well what a night. It was quite unbearable here! It was hot and sticky with no breeze at all. Poor snoopy couldn't get comfy at all. I think he managed to get some sleep around 5am till 7.30 am which is better than nothing at all. He's got up amazingly Perky! He's had braised beef with spinach, squash, mushrooms and parsley for breakfast with a handful of kibble.. nice! He ran round to the back garden, the bull was lying by the fence. He ran to him and they touched noses ( they seem to have got into a habit of doing that) then he had his toilet break and ran back in to watch mum and dad have their breakfast. The temperature seems a bit more comfortable at the moment,so hopefully Snoop can help with a bit of gardening today Ness
