Socks: Mouseworks Dynamic Cardboard Redesign and Basic Tunneling

I thought I hadn't taken that much, but I have had a demand for a bigger cage with more cellar space 😀 At the moment it's in a HH tube which gets quite tightly packed!

Yes, that's what caught my eye when I saw him in PaH 🥰 He was bar biting and climbing on everything determinedly

He’s very determined! Raffy also chews cardboard - I had cardboard all round the inside of his cage for deeper bedding when I got him and he chewed the lot off! Bedding all over the floor. Hence I invested in the Perspex panels. But already had the cage.

Strangely though he doesn’t chew cardboard any other time - only when it was round the cage bars!

He looks very cute.

Haha, the dustpan and brush come out a great deal these days!

I just got a long handled dustpan and brush at Christmas (it was the mystery present ha ha - and looked interesting wrapped up). Don’t know why I’ve never had one before - it’s much easier!

Socks dashing through tunnels as fast as he can:
I want to get more of the concertina tunnels that fit together, especially the slightly wider ones. Running through tunnels in the grass might also be an activity that hamsters do enthusiastically, but it might be a bit difficult to create in human habitat.

It seems to help him to stop chewing cardboard 😀

Thank you! He seems to like tunnels that allow him to sprint about at max speed. A set of nice uninterrupted long dashes would possibly be a nice form of enrichment for hamsters who choose to dash like this.
