Although, being a hamster, I think he's not going to be sharing his cake with anyone (except me, maybe 😄)

Cute paw prints, Socks will have to be extra good now that we know what they look like.

Reminds me of a time in college the shops were closed, my friends and I were out of food. My best friend has two pet rats, and just started eating from their big bag of food. Forgot what the mix was, but it was delicious. Good dried fruit and yogurt drops.

I tried a flax seed from a spray myself while Henry was doing one of his hunts, and I can see the appeal.
 
Stomach not so good today so Socks didn't get out into his playpen cos Mom was sleeping. He had a sand bath in his en-suite to be and left me a single, tiny poop, perhaps a prescription for my upset tummy. Thank you Dr Socks! 😄

Thank you! I think it's moved off now, I am looking forward to trying a bit of cheese on my rich tea biscuits! I think we should manage the playpen tonight!

Thank you! The cheese and rich tea Biscuit went down well. Now waiting for Mr Socks to get up. He ate his greens, but I missed him and he's gone back to bed, probably until 10pm. If I'm lucky we'll have a bit of wheel/cuddle time again at 5am. He is an easy pet though, he sleeps while I'm at work, is quiet and clean and is utterly beguiling!
 
No sign of Socks until 3am 😄 when he had a nice run on his wheel. Come out and play, Mom! Umm, 💤 😴. He came out at about 6am when the light was on and filled his shopping bags and nibbled, seated in his bowl. We had some delightful pats and delicate head strokes, and then he said I'm off to bed, have a nice day!
 
It sounds like you two are getting a great bond :)
