Blossom 🌸

I cleaned Blossom out this morning. I found her Banana leaf roll, the bottom of her egg box toadstool, and the remains of the top…BUT no sign whatsoever of her toilet roll treat ball or its remains 😲🤔 I have no idea what she has done with that lol. I gave Miss B her goodies for lunchtime today when I finished cleaning her out.

UPDATE: Miss B has just come out, squeaking and demanding her tea…I think she’d forgotten that she’s already had her goodies for the day 😆 I did get her an extra piece of courgette to satiate her enormous appetite for treats! She was somewhat placated by finding that she hadn’t yet been in her dig box, so has had a rummage in there, and pouched the courgette…all quiet now, phew! 😮‍💨
 
I’m just back from a weekend away, and Blossom seems none the worse for wear, despite it being rather warm. In my absence, she has secreted more items from her cage…the stalk from one of her her egg box toadstools is missing, and also her coconut husk heart…where on earth does she put them 🤷🏻‍♀️ I have given her a new coconut husk heart in replacement ❤️
 
Maybe she has always been hiding things, but smaller items you didn't notice and she's just building up to the bigger ones?
Jas hides all sorts, she likes to know if she's in her burrow, she has her favourite things to chew, and that I can't take them away.
 
I've just gone to bed and can hear some strange noises downstairs...I've just remembered that Blossom had unusually put some of her stash in her wheel, and I can hear it sliding around!!
 
Ha ha - she really is trying to get your attention and make her presence known!
 
While feeding Blossom this evening, I came across the coconut husk heart at the bottom of her dig box!! Just the stalk to her egg box toadstool which is awol still 🙄😆
 
So, this evening, I noticed that Blossom’s coconut husk heart was just on top of the bedding in the middle of the cage, so I put it back between the bars so she could nibble on it. PAH! Blossom went straight over, removed it from between the bars, and placed it back on the bedding in the middle of the cage! That told me lol 😝
