Jas, the hamster formally known as Jasper

Ooh she’ll enjoy those. Where did you find the porridge? I haven’t actually seen it in any shops - just bought it online. Yes most of the veggie ones from Ella’s kitchen are fine.
 
I found it in Waitrose in the end. A lot of shops have the other pouches, but not the porridge.
 
I wish we had a Waitrose! There aren't any in the North. I think the Ellas kitchen food can be frozen as well, but can't remember :-)
 
We had a little play time today. I was trying to do a little clean, and Jas dug up from her burrow, before I could clean and she started putting all the bedding back. (The picture is a bit dark as I turned the light off, when she came out)
Then I offered her the taxi and in she got. Lovely to see my beautiful girl

It's lovely to see her. She looks so sweet on the second photo :-) Great she decided to come out for a play.
 
She's so cute♥️ Socks does that, starts tucking bits of nest material back into place when I spot clean the loo room of his house. Taking off the roof causes a cave in in places, but is not quite a full nest trashing, on the hamster scale.
 
Cute photos of Jas, she’s beautiful. Made me chuckle to hear she was trying to hold onto her bedding during the tidy, it’s great they are so independent.

Happy second birthday Jas! I can't beleive it's a year since her first birthday! She's looking really well :-) Beautiful.

The second picture was her first birthday, so I made her a carrot birthday cake. It was just carrot with a few oats and a tiny bit of egg white to bind it. Baked until cooked. Once cooled, natural yoghurt with a bit of walnut on top.
I wasn't sure she would come out for her second birthday, so I brought her cupcakes, that is the third picture.
 
The cupcakes are gorgeous! How did you make them please :-) I remember the photo from her first birthday :-)

Sorry, I can't take credit for the cupcakes, I got them from Etsy. She did seem to like them.
