Tino wanted to be out at the same time as Raffy again tonight. So he went in the bathtub with his things in there while Raffy was roaming round the living room. OH sat in the living room with Raffy and I sat in the bathroom with Tino 
Tino is still slightly jumpy and nervy in his cage. He comes out of his house and shoots straight under his cork log. I go and talk to him and he edges nervily forwards in the cork log and then walks into a tube if offered. But the slightest noise or movement on his cage (I put the food tub down on top) and he backs up into the cork log again. Talking to him brings him out again though. It's nice that he responds to my voice.

It's great that you are forming a bond with each other! Tino and Raffy have such a nice, caring family to look after them

It’s lovely that Tino responds to your voice & is wanting to come out more now, hopefully he’ll get a bit more confident in the cage with time, maybe after the upgrade when he’s had time to settle in there.

I hope so too He is not an explorer like Raffy - he is an absolute food monster. All he wants to do in the bathtub is forage and eat 
Not interested in the wheel in there. He did investigate the plug hole under the blanket last night though, until I stopped him, and he came up looking guilty and sheepish somehow.

Tino was out at the same time as Raffy again tonight so had some time in his bathtub play area. I left him to it for a short while, while I spot cleaned his house. He still doesn’t pee in the potty but uses it as a sand bath! He pees just outside the front door of his house (he stuffs up the front entrance with paper and uses the top door) and also at one end of his nest. That house maybe doesn’t have the right layout - either that or Tino is just contrary

I didn’t manage to get any photos of him tonight unfortunately as was doing his cage and also keeping an eye on Raffy and popping in to see Tino as well. But I’m sure he’s grown again so will weigh him again next time.

lol…definitely contrary! Blossom has a corner toilet, which she was using, but just recently has taken to weeing NEXT TO the corner toilet instead of in it

Here's Tino tonight. He seems quite comfortable being out in the cage now with someone around and the door open - rather than hiding in his log as he was doing if the door opened. He looked at me when I talked to him but decided he was more interested in food than coming out.

She has taken to putting some bits of food in there. Only a couple of pieces tho...her main stash is still in her nest.
