Charlie Boy

Oh I know that tiny little claws feeling :-) He does look really happy there and more grown up and lively :) I had one who then used to crawl down my back inside my top - using the little claws to keep a grip!
 
Very special moment to have Charlie enjoying himself in your hood, even if he did have to leave his own imprint on you!

Charlie's update, well things new for his nibs, he has had regular Melon, and Water Melon for the first times , at first he sniffed them most curiously then decided they where worthy of a Charlie he munched them at speed, while it was warm he loved a piece of cold melon...
He now has taken to sweet corn and that is the first thing to disappear from his fresh food bowl..
I will confess to being a little naughty as I gave Charlie a little tiny bit of custard and whipped cream from a trifle I had made and at best it was little finger nailed size, that went down well he sat there and licked that off of the end of a tea spoon, I swear he had a look of bliss on his face he even held the spoon and didn't look happy when I took it away..!
He made such a pile of Carefresh under his house, his house toppled over ! So not to be deterred he just buried himself in the pile I didn't know this until cleaning things up I lifted a pile of mucky bedding to bin it and found I had a hamster in my hand as well as bedding, he wasn't happy but with new Carefresh layer built up nice and deep I think I was forgiven.
Charlie likes to be under cover so I have given him a few boxes with holes in them and he happily scoots around out of sight of the world, until it comes to dinner time then the rustle of salad bags has him out waiting looking around for his dinner.... Oh and a bit of cheese is always a favourite treat for him oh and a little bit of custard cream .....
 
Great update on Charlie, sounds like he’s thoroughly enjoying being spoilt with his gourmet treats & having fun digging in his carefresh, had to laugh at you coming up with a handful of hamster!
 
I also had to laugh at the handful of hamster which happened to me once with a Robo.
I bet Charlie wasn't impressed.

Charlie sounds well happy with his lot and getting to taste a bit of what the humans like.
 
Good to hear about Charlie again. He sounds like he's still a bit of a shy hamster (except at dinner time!). He'll maybe mellow a bit as he gets older :)

I can just imagine him looking excited at treats! I also smiled at the handful of hamster!
 
As we are off on our Holibobs to the Lakes, Charlie is going to a friends for a Holibob of his own, but thought I would share this image of his nibs with his favourite nibble snack which is a slice of sweetcorn on the cob, I wanted him to hold the corn cob in his paws but he wasn't having any of it .
I like how Charlies fur is darkening as time goes on, from being very pale to now quite a rich biscuit cream, normally the only time I see him is when I get home from work about 04.00 when I open the fridge and he stands waiting for his fresh dinner...!

His fur colour really has gone a lovely rich colour. He looks very healthy and enjoying his corn on the cob. I can just imagine you and Charlie having a 4am feast together :)

Have a good holiday - it’s a great place for holidays - we go there too.
