Gardens and wildlife

I love Dorset, one of my most favourite counties if not top of the list. It’s many years since I went to Lulworth Cove and it was wonderful to see your stunning photos of it. Plus the photos of your other visits.
Hope your holiday was good overall and you have returned refreshed!

It is indeed a very beautiful county with so much to see and do. This was my 4th visit. Hoping to go back next year too!

I certainly agree with Lovelyness about Dorset.
Keep on planning Tulsi!

It's rather a long way for me unfortunately - Scotland is closer! But I'd love to go there one day.

This was work place for yesterday ☺️ After our school visit, my colleague and I had our lunch on the common, soaking up the September sunshine and watching the red kites overhead ☺️

That looks idyllic 😊 The weather is lovely at the moment isn’t it? You do get to work in some nice places 😊

Yes, I had a choice of which district I wanted to work in..this one with lots of village schools and market towns…or a town centre. I think I made the right choice 😉👍

You made the right choice over and over again. Whatever pressures work brings, and it will happen in any location, that environment will wash them away in no time. 😀

Made the most of the nice weather today and we went out to a cafe and garden centre. Saw autumn leaves on a few trees there. The garden at home doesn’t have a lot interesting now but the garden centre always looks lovely.

Field near cafe. You probably can’t see on that first photo but one of the trees is full of catkins. Wish I'd had my proper camera with me and I could have zoomed in on them. Instead I was using my phone and had the wrong glasses on ha ha.

Beautiful flowers and plants. It always amazes me how lovely it looks at this time of year when many gardens don’t have much flowering.

I was out and about making the most of the very last of the late summer sunshine too. I visited a local nature reserve which was beautiful! It was warm, sunny, peaceful and very beautiful. I felt like I was on holiday! The autumn colours are just creeping in here too 🍁🍂 There were lots of Canada Geese, a few lapwing, coots, mallards and moorhens, and a hobby flying overhead. I walked all the way round the lakes (about 2 miles).

When I’m driving through country lanes for work, I do feel that there are definitely worse ways to earn a living!
