Socks: Mom woke me up this morning for a photoshoot, not of me, but of my paw print! 
She's delighted because I'm in today's page of the advent calendar

Mom: I bought some desert substrate from Rodipet for Socks. It's lovely red clay and sand, but Socks didn't dig in it. In fact, he started eating bits of it! But that's no problem, I'll use it for my plants. I did get a picture of his paw print in the clay. Hopefully thanks to Rodipet and hamster conservation efforts there are still hamsters' prints in the sandy soils of their native home.
